About Dr Katy McDevitt
I'm Katy, a leadership coach and facilitator who helps leaders to cultivate mindsets, behaviours and approaches that create purposeful impact, backed by expertise in the science and practice of learning. I’m here to help you and those you lead to think better, not harder, so that you can engage with the complex demands of leadership and accomplish meaningful, sustainable results.
I coach and develop individuals and teams at my own practice, Comma Leadership, where you'll find current programs and offerings to explore. And I partner with a growing number of client organisations as an associate coach and facilitator, contributing to human-centred team, organisational and executive development in contexts ranging from large-scale national operations to nonprofits and social enterprises.
I'm known for my grounding and inclusive style, which is ideal if you want to dive deep to tackle limiting dynamics in your leadership life, while getting practical to track through to results and impact.
I draw on a rich and unusual combination of educational, strategic and commercial experience as a senior leader and manager over 20 years in fields including corporate learning, higher education, and digital learning and publishing.
I have also built deep, trusted expertise in Learning Sciences, Leadership, Innovation and Design disciplines over 3 decades (so far!).
In coaching and leadership development, I'm a Certified Organisational and Executive Coach (IECL, Australia) and a member of the International Coach Federation and the International Leadership Association. A trained and seasoned Chief Learning Officer, I have completed advanced training in Adaptive Leadership with Harvard Kennedy School and in Agile Enterprise Leadership with Melbourne Business School, among others.
I am proud to be a Certified Coach with The Leadership Circle, Human Synergistics (LSI), HBDI (Whole Brain Thinking), Hogan 360, and the Harthill Leadership Development Profile.
